Under the umbrella of the Québec Education Program, there are a number of different learning opportunities for our students, in the form of specific programs and classes. At the cycle one secondary level we offer the following: a general education path; excellence programs for students excelling in specific subjects, an academic consolidation class for students needing more academic support, and the diversified program.

General Education Path
This is the core curriculum for all students in Quebec, containing Languages, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Science, Arts and Personal and Social Development.
This is an effective way for a student to achieve the objectives of the core curriculum while becoming immersed in the French language.
Excellence programs offer students the core curriculum while allowing them to focus on their area of interest.
These students benefit from a low ratio group for ELA, Math, FSL, Science and GHC with an extra year to consolidate their skills and prepare them for senior high school. Emphasis is placed on encouraging and supporting learning through an adult mentoring program, ongoing monitoring of each student's progress, and meeting their individual needs according to their IEP.
This low ratio classroom provides a positive environment that matches the student's learning style, academic level and individual needs according to their IEP. These students receive ongoing support with a core teacher and in class support. This classroom reinforces the development of critical thinking, emotional regulation and good decision as well as reaching their potential. These students are active participants in school life.
CASP- A Competency- Based Approach to Social Participation
Students (6-15 years old) with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. This low ratio classroom provides a positive environment that matches the student's learning style, academic level and individual needs according to their IEP. Students in this classroom receive ongoing support with a core teacher and in-class support. The focus of the program is to develop functional and practical life skills. These students are active participants in school life.
